how about using this colorful explosion effect texture that looks more realistic rather than the original effect of battlefield 1942 that was just white color

to the effects folder just rem the line of the current explosion effects: ObjectTemplate.texture e_fire4 and add the line: ObjectTemplate.texture e_flame

This looks a bit too "strong" for me,
more suitable for a fun-mod like pirates

if this is strong then what are the explosion effects of battlefield victory (V) and battlefield 1?

by the way the texture comes from battlefield forgotten hope modification so credits go to them

every modification seems to change the original effects of battlefield 1942 to better ones

you can use it for a Mark I Supply tank because the one in battlefield 1918 modification has the hull of a Gun carrier Mark I

for historical accuracy the Gun carrier Mark I didn't had a supply version but it had the Gun carrier Mark II and Salvage machine versions
